Integration With GWU Academic Programs

The research programs of the SACRI will continue to be integrated with the graduate educational programs of The School of Engineering and Applied Science and other entities within the George Washington University. The most directly related programs are the M.S. and DSc. degrees in communications offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Other relevant programs are the M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics offered by the Department of Civil, Mechanical and Environmental Engineering and the M.S. in Information Management offered by the Department of Engineering Management.

The School of Engineering and Applied Science has been involved in graduate level degree programs in all areas of space communications for several decades. The school is currently conducting such a program for the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Specific courses relevant to the activities of the SACRI are the following:
